  • Main Street Enid - from First Friday events to Turpin Tunes and local events, dining and shopping, Main Street Enid is a good place to find things to do in downtown Enid during your stay.
  • Enid Symphony Orchestra - enjoy an evening of fine music at the Enid Symphony Center in the historic and beautifully renovated Knox Building.
  • Gaslight Theatre - from kids theatre to comedies and Shakespeare in the Park, the Gaslight Theatre makes a great evening out on the town.
  • Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center - enjoy browsing through interactive exhibits, Humphrey Heritage Village and a world class museum collection showcasing the history of the Cherokee Strip, the 1893 Land Run, Enid and northwest Oklahoma.
  • Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse and Adventure Quest - if you're in town to visit children you won't want to miss this great museum and interactive play zone.
  • Simpson's Old Time Museum - the old West comes to life at Skeleton Creek Productions and Simpson's Old Time Museum.
  • Golf - enjoy a round at one of the area's public golf courses: Meadowlake Golf Course, a 9-hole course at Golden Oaks VillagePheasant Run, and Roman Nose State Park, about an hour and 15 minutes southwest of Enid. If miniature golf is more your speed, visit Putt Putt 4RKids.
  • Kenwood Historic District - enjoy a walk through history in Enid's first neighborhood and see the historic homes, including Southard House!
  • Waverly Historic District - enjoy strolling and driving through streets lined with grand homes dating back to 1902.

  • Enid Woodring Wall of Honor and Veterans Park - visit Enid's veterans park and an 80 percent replica of the Vietnam Memorial wall.
  • Chisholm Trail Coalition - enjoy walking tours, wagon tours, re-enactors and more, April through October.
  • Railroad Museum of Oklahoma - walk through a collection of real cabooses, model railroad exhibits, the historic Santa Fe depot and a large collection of railroad memorabilia and dining car china.
  • Gloss Mountain State Park - about an hour west of Enid on Hwy. 412, the Gloss Mountains are a natural western beauty, and a great destination for an afternoon road trip.
  • Roman Nose State Park - located about an hour and 15 minutes southwest of Enid, this state park offers hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, horseback riding and golf.
  • Great Salt Plains State Park and Wildlife Refuge - this is a great destination for bird watching, hiking, canoeing and selenite crystal digging, about 45 minutes northwest of Enid.
  • Alabaster Caverns State Park - located about 100 miles northwest of Enid, this natural formation of gypsum caverns is worth the drive for a day trip.
